Happy Valentines Day!

We had so much fun today celebrating Valentines Day! We have really been talking alot of V-Day these last couple of days and Evan was so excited! But, I was kind of bummed yesterday when I realized that photos had to be taken for the listing of our house :( SO we had to miss our the mom's group Valentine party!

So, I got up a little extra early today and tried to still make the day super fun! It started off with a special breakfast :) I made heart shaped red pancakes, red (though looked more orange!) eggs, and pink milk!

Does this outfit look familiar?! Ainsley had the same one last year! When my friend Michelle discovered that her daughter had the same one last year but in a bigger size...she gave it to us! I was SOOOOOO glad she thought of us, because I feel like with being so focused on the move, etc...I kind of dropped the ball! I didn't pull together special outfits for either of my kids! :( THANKS MICHELLE!

After breakfast we all watched a movie together! Evan's choice...LOL...Oh enjoy it while it last Evan because once Ainsley can choose...it might not be Cars 2 :) Ainsley went down for a nap shortly after we started the movie so Evan and I watched and played lots of board games!

And once Daddy got home, goodie bags! Evan was so excited!

And the princess got a wand! It was a hit!

Today, Evan had his 3rd year checkup! No shots...woohoo! Weighed in at 32.5 pounds (56th percentile...such a skinny little man!) and was 38.5 inches tall (69th). After the doc...we spent some time enjoying this beautiful AZ weather!

We just found out that we got the house we were wanting in Tucson! WOOHOO! We decided a few weeks ago after feeling so stressed trying to buy from long distance to just rent temporarily to figure out exactly where we want to be and In our search for a rental we discovered that there just weren't enough there! :( Leading to multiple applicatinons of each house! Well...we lucked out because we got the one we wanted and I was so EXCITED! Get this...the owner works for Ferguson!!!! He was transferred a few years ago! So when the property manager was going through our file with him and said where Christian worked, he said "Stop there...it's all theirs! We need to keep it in the family" ;)

So sad today is Mimi's last day :( We have had so much fun these last two weeks and have done so much together! We are so glad she was able to come and stay for so long! Crazy to think that when she visits this spring...we will be in our new house in Tucson!

We spent her last day at the Children's Museum! We all had a great time! Last time I went, Ainsley wasn't walking as well and today she was having a ball! All over the place! And of course, Evan just LOVED every minute of it! Cried when it was time to leave : /

Also, since we had last gone...the museum had all sorts of new fun things!!!! This room was SOOOO cool! You got to build your own monster, move letters and words around the walls, and hide in little bungalow type tents!

Today, Mimi took us out to lunch at Chuckee Cheese!!! Evan and Ainsley both had so much fun (Mimi and Mommy loved playing games too ;) )! We ate pizza, played games, got fun prizes, and had icecream!

On Saturday, was Evan's 3rd Birthday Pirate Party! We had so much fun! I had a blast planning all the little details and was so glad our family and friends came to celebrate! This party was also extra special because Mimi was here! Evan was so excited for her to come into town for 2 weeks! We spent all last week getting everything ready for the big day! A big thank you to Jackie for all the decorating help and for the AWESOME banner! Also, thank you to Todd and Mims for all your help running errands the day before!

That's right we are moving to Tucson! Christian has been offered a promotion there and so within a few months, will be moving there! We went yesterday and although we didn't find any exact house, did narrow done a location of where we want to live off the Pusch Ridge in Oro Valley or Catalina Foothills. I didn't take these pics...just pulled some off the internet! So, now the craziness of finding a house, selling ours, and moving begins!!!!! We will keep you updated on how everything goes!

This afternoon we had Evan's 3rd year and Ainsley's 1st year pictures done! Evan was a total ham and Ainsley didn't smile much BUT she didn't cry so that's good!

A Day of Play!

This morning Evan woke up before Ainsley so we spent some time building with his new blocks! We made a HOKIE :)

Then headed to LG for a playdate and Evan's first Funny Bugs Class. I really didn't get many pics threw the window but he did great! After about 45 minutes, came to the door and said he was done but Evan is usually pretty easy to talk into doing things and once he saw the kids flying around the gym on a mat...he was back in!

And after some very long naps...we played outside until Daddy got home...then Daddy wanted to play outside with his new toy :)

Well, my loyal followers, no need to blog hop any longer...as of TODAY...this will be a daily update blog! Our family blog will now be updated daily!!! :) Sometimes just a photo of the day...and other times and mega post with lots of pics :)

So here goes!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Last night, we went to my mom's house for dinner, football, and watched Austin City limit and Dick Clark's show!

Toasting with their cider...at 9pm :)

Then this morning, Christan got up early and put some meat in our new smoker! We did turkey, sausage, and brisket...it was AAAAAAAAAAAAMAZING! We need to have a party! :)

Then we took the kids on a talk! Check out this cool dude on his scooter!

OOOOO...yummy meat!!!!!!

My mom, bro and Todd came over for dinner! Then our friend Greg dropped by too!

The kids had lots of fun playing outside in their new playhouse from Mims!

And of course we had to bring our new build a bears in! THANKS MIMI for the gift cards! Evan's new favorite place! It topped the Disney store!!!!

Then, we made some icecream in our new icecream maker (thanks mimi :) )...IT WAS SO GOOD! and only took 15 minutes! Way to easy! Dangerous. LOL

Christmas in AZ!!!

We got back to AZ very late on Wednesday so we did my xmas with my mom on Thursday evening!

Evan had to bring his boombox to sing for everyone!

A new art set from Mims...I guess she is always taking Evans! Evan got a cool one where you color your own stickers!

A HOKIE STONE for over our back door! The football team at Virginia Tech hits one as the run out of the stadium...it was the HOT gift for Hokies this year!

Playing with their new toys! Evan got a glow doodle, tons of games, legos, color wonder, puzzles! Ainsley got a Hello kitty lunch box, a favorite pillow (I got one of my mama clark when I was born and ALWAYS slept with it...yep even through college), art set, instruments

And...their big gift from mommy and daddy! A scooter and a musical music along pony!

Ainsley loves Evan ride on truck so I figured this would be a hit!

DINNER TIME! My kids always love spaghetti night!

After her bath, she played with the new music push toy Todd gave her!

The kids also got a Playhouse for outside! Not set up, that's our project tomorrow! Look for pics!

And I got a new bike! Can't wait to hook up my trailer! But need to get Evan a new helmet first! Ainsley will be sporting his Thomas one! LOL

Kind of sad Christmas is over but I know 2012 is going to be a GREAT year full of many new adventures!!!!

Christmas Eve and Day in Virginia!

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Day in Virginia! It had been 2 years since we had been in VA for xmas day, so it was so fun to be there with the two kids :)

The kids did a gingerbread house...what was so cool about this?! It's reusable! GENIUS! Something we learned from this?! Don't let the kids do the gingerbread house unattended...because they will eat candy and frosting like CRAZY!

These two are SOOOO cute! If you look at the family pics there is a few adorable ones of these two and I HAVE to have one! They were such buds! Evan said "shes my best friend"!

The tree Santa left some goodies under :) Mimi put up 14 Christmas trees this year! This one was child proof! All shatter proof ornaments!

Santa also left a new David book and T-REX pillowpet for Evan and UNICORN for Ainsley at the bottom of their bed!

These kids were up at the crack of dawn...literally...wasn't it like 6:45?! They were all so excited!

WOW! A MP3 music player, complete with all of Evan's favorite songs!

AND...a microphone! Evan, Marley and Ainsley had SOOOOOO much fun with this!

Cars racetrack, legos, leappad, pirate ship, tool set, BIG floor piano, a music table that works with your TV, leap pad games, app cards, and case, shark puppet, Matchbox cars, Ainsley got some adorable outfits and a little miss muffin and a microphone, frog blanket, so many cool new books, and MORE! Quite a few things were shipped, so I feel like it will be Christmas all over again next week! :)

What a great time with family! After all the present fun we had a great prime rib dinner! :) And the kids spent the rest of the day and night PLAYING!

While on our vacation we took a little trip to the Jamestown Settlement. Evan had so much fun exploring all the different parts of it!

It was pretty cold that morning...so the kids got all bundled up! Which was kind of fun when you dont get to do that much in AZ :)

While in Virginia, Mimi took us to visit Santa! The best Santa EVER! Oh my goodness! He took so much time with each child and we got a CD of 31 pictures! I knew how Ainsley would react but I wasn't sure about Evan...he was a little anxious in line but then LOVED it!

Ainsley is ONE!

My little baby girl is ONE! On December 19th, we celebrated her first birthday in Virginia...

Yes...I know that was almost 2 weeks ago but we have been out of town and as you can see by the amount of pictures in this post...it was quite time consuming ;) That being said...this post contain a TON of pics! It is Ainsley's last post in her 1st year blog book :) Next weekend, we get her 1 year pictures done and will add those to it also!

My sweet baby girl shortly after 1:46am on December 19th :)

This last year has been so fun with our little lady! She is Spunky, Fiesty, Snuggly, full of laughter, and also a little shy :) She is her Mommy's BFF, Daddy's Favorite girl, and her brother's biggest fan! After having Evan, I really didn't know life could get any better BUT each year just tops the one before! Having a family has really made Christian and I's life complete :) We are just so blessed! I look forward to the many years to come watching Ainsley and Evan grow up! Though hopefully it doesn't go too fast :)

Ainsley turning one is bittersweet! Christian and I were just talking about how she like a little person now! Walking, babbling, playing, eating big people food...she's not our little baby anymore. Even though I still see her as my infant, each day she is doing more and more big girl things! Today, she was caring around her new bitty baby in one hand and a little play diaper bag in the other! AH! :)

Here are some pics from her birthday party that Mimi and Big Daddy threw her! Thank you for making her first birthday so special! It was a princess theme. I just LOVED her little outfit! Mimi made it for her! The tutu and shirt were beautiful! This morning, Evan's friend Grace had all of us over for cookie baking and stocking decorating!!!! All the moms brought cute little stocking stuffers as treats. SUCH A CUTE IDEA! All the kids wore jammies (our xmas jammies are packed and ready to go) and Evan of course had to wear slippers! Even though it was pretty crazy with 9 toddlers, 3 almost toddlers, and 4 babies...the kids had a BLAST! Love my mom's group...we have so much fun!

A Few Christmas Festivities!

On Saturday, after Ainsley's Party we headed over to Christian's GM's house for his work party! He lives up in Cave Creek...it is so pretty up there! We enjoyed the scenery and of course great company!

A Bittersweet Milestone

Today was Evan's last LG parent child class...EVER! AH! My little baby boy is growing up so fast! I have so enjoyed each child we have taken together! It's bittersweet that he will now be moving up to the FUNNY BUGS class! :)
